@fbaezer,
I don't recall any more why we didn't meet when you were visiting Boston back in Abuzz days. I remember I gave you some suggestions for where to enjoy good jazz in Boston and you thanked me profusely afterwards on-line, but we never got together. Weird.

@ossobuco,
McTag was actually the first A2Ker Abuzzer I've met, nearly exactly 12 years ago, here at our place.

Odd, Frank. I was just looking at a photo of you, Jane, Bernie, and Kicky Kan.

Last think I heard from Kicky, was:

Ciao, Amica.

@Letty,
I haven't heard from Kicky in a very long time either, Letty. Next time I go into the City I will try to get in touch with him. He is moving all the time...has a new apartment damn near every time I see him.

@dlowan,
Oh yes, I've met Robert-CDK both in Mexico and San Diego. We have had fun together. I was talking about the Albuquerque gathering.

I also met Laeknir Scrat, the crazy Icelander. He was in MC on his way to Acapulco to film something about the life of Johnny Weissmuller. Scrat had a saying about people in this Forum: "They are like characters of the Illiad, every chapter someone dies or vanishes". One day, Laeknir vanished (last thing I know he was living in Canada). Other members, alas, have died.

@Lustig Andrei,
Great jazz place, can't remember the name anymore. We went there twice. The second one was the Big Sunday Jam.

@fbaezer,
Yup. On Massachusetts Ave. Thad hadda be it. Still going strong, to the best of my knowledge, though I haven't been back in about three years.

@Lustig Andrei,
Massachussets Avenue, that's correct! Then it's THE place.

@fbaezer,
You and Laeknir are both on my would like to meet list.

Of course, like Elvis, Marilyn and Bigfoot, you fabulous beasts can only be seen by each other.

Veering from topic but not too much - Roger was with me about an hour ago, me facing a stressful financial matter (it came out ok for now but scary stuff for a bit) and one of the other people waiting was wearing a Blue Man Group tee shirt. Naturally he made a new friend finding if she had seen them or not. Turned out, yes. (No, they didn't get into how Roger knew about them)

I figure there are a2k acolytes we don't even know about. An exaggeration, yeah.
I should drag out my old a2k sweatshirt and wear it once in a while.
Hell, I might run into Foxfyre.
