Mitt Romney Is Looking Good

My point is that Romney has been caught trying to take both sides of several contentious issues.

On each of these issues (including immigrants rights) there are Americans feel strongly on both sides.

I believe most Americans, regardless of which side they are on personally, hate it when someone tries to take both sides of an issue for political expediency.

If a Candidate decides to represent the right-wing of the Republican party on issues like immigration, gay marriage and abortion, he will win the hearts of about 30% of Americans, and may be able to win over the other 20% he needs to win by showing consistancy.

The fact that Romney has already taken moderate stances that contradict his new-found social conservative views makes this near impossible.

Let's stick with Tancredo.

Like I said, browns posts hold no interest for me anymore
That being said, at least on this issue was my statement & because of his upholding US Immigration Laws I will keep watch & pay attention to him, not some poster that believes that our laws aren't important.

I am sorry I hurt your feelings Madam. I enjoy reading and responding to your posts, in fact one of the reasons I like A2K is because it is a place where I can both bump heads, and exchange ideas with people from the other side of the political spectrum.

I would be interested in knowing who's posts do hold interest for you... but I am what I am and I am sorry if that offends you.

Hurt my feelings? You pi$$ me off because of your hypocricy. you demand back up then say "or are you making it up"
I like anybodys posts that are thought provoking, non combative, & some semblance of decency. Yes, I do fight back, but if you'll notice, I don't go after anybody that hasn't come after me. "Are you making it up" is combative, the same as "are you lying" I don't give a damn if the poster is a yellow dog democrat or a communist liberal, or a david duke republican, if they want to debate without the vitriol. I'm game. Look at the threads I've started, there's always some smart a$$es that show up & do everything they can to take the thread off topic & usually do that by attacking me! Then have the **lls to say correct me on spelling, grammer, whatever, anything but the topic. One vile poster went way over the line today, i should've reported him but he's not worth the effort.

Look, you scuzzy miscreant. I am the NCO in charge of the outpatient pharmacy at the Army Community Hospital at Ft Polk. You go way too far when you accuse someone of lying about being a military member. If there was ever any chance that you would be taken as someone who posts here in good faith, that's gone forever as far as I'm concerned. And if you have ANY doubt or problem with the reality of my service, then come to Ft Polk - the hospital address is 1535 3rd street, and the Outpatient Pharmacy is on the 2nd floor. You are one lowlife piece of crap.

I am not coming after you Madam. I am challenging the claims you are making. This is perfectly legitimate in a political debate.

I would suggest you develop a bit of skin thickness if you want to enjoy a combative forum such as this.

In the case you are talking about I interpreted your post as a claim that most US soldiers believed the Swift Boat veterans personal attacks on John Kerry. Questioning this implication is not unreasonable. If you have evidence to the contrary, you can shut me up by providing it. If you don't feel like responding you can simply ignore it.

People have made many attacks about contents of my posts (and even some attacks on me personally). I read it, decide if it is valid, then decide if I care, and more often then not simply ignore it. I have also had very interesting interactions on one post from people who made very direct attacks on my ideas in another.

Of course you have the option of putting me on your personal blacklist. I will be a bit disappointed that I will not be able to debate with you which obviously I enjoy (or I wouldn't do it). I don't have anyone on my blacklist.

But I am what I am.

Can't take being offended? Then stop with your cruddy insults. I don't give a damn if you're a general, the fact that you are a military member doesn't give you anymore rights to act like a nimrod than the next blowhard.
Low life piece of crap? LMAO, you wish you were as good as crap.

Asking for back up & saying are you making it up are two entirely different things. Why don't you back up every claim you make?

Cause I don't have to. If I don't want to take a challenge I can simply ignore it. Sometimes I ignore a challenge because I can't back it up. Sometimes I ignore a challenge because I think the whole thing is stupid I can't be bothered.

So which is the case in the Webb's son thing? I don't care to tell you. The point is that we each made our case and it really doesn't matter. We should move on.

Now back to the topic.

Romney is political toast. I wouldn't mind if he got the nomination since I think he would be as easy to beat as the last governor of Massachusetts who ran for president was.

But I think this whole thing is futile. Romney has zero chance of winning the nomination.

So it would be ok with you if I said are you lying
BTW-I'll remember I don't have to. Rolling Eyes

I want to take this opportunity to explain to those of you on the forum who might be a little put off by my obvious breach of the unspoken tenets of anonymity here at A2K by announcing exactly where I work. You are correct - in general it is a dangerous practice to reveal any real information about who or where one really is. I just couldn't take this excrement of an excuse for a person suggesting that I have created some kind of military identity here falsely.

You won't remember "madame", but it was you who took the first swipe at me. You won't remember because of the dozen other people you have regular p*ssing contests with. But that doesn't matter. You crossed a line.

You try to appear to be some hyper-patriotic, "Christian" proud-family-member. You are a grasping, clueless foul and idiotic piece of filth.
