Your question presupposes that the troops should be "supported" at all.

If one concludes that the U.S. violent actions in Iraq is akin to a "war of aggression," why should they support (whatever you mean by "support") those who volunteer to partake in immorality?

Apparently, when one can not argue theor position rationally, the last resort is violence.

If one subscribes to your position, then spits in the face of a soldier, then that makes the "spitter" as low as the soldier they spat on.

If you believe your position is the correct position, one should not have to resort to such low rent tactics. Apparently, when one can not argue theor position rationally, the last resort is violence.
