@Luv4AL hatred4non,
It was written by someone primarily identifiable as a Muslim... I doubt it is a discussion so much as a one-sided religious monologue. Perhaps you could give me something from a perspective I share?? At the very least, secular...

@sjmr783,
Same old bs creationist arguments. You have been fairly dealt to by other posters so I'm not going to repeat them. I probably wouldn't have bothered anyway. Congradulations on your patience everyone else.

Peace!

No harm to give a try!
Revelation, Rationality, Knowledge & Truth
------------------------------------------------------

All major issues which intrigue the modern mind are attempted to be incorporated in this fascinatingly comprehensive statute.

Whatever the intellectual or educational background of the reader, this book is bound to offer him something of his interest.

It examines a very diverse and wide range of subjects including the concept of revelation in different religions, history of philosophy, cosmology, extraterrestrial life, the future of life on earth, natural selection and its role in evolution. It also elaborately discusses the advent of the Messiah, or other universal reformers, awaited by different religions.

Likewise, many other topical issues which have been agitating the human mind since time immemorial are also incorporated.

@Luv4AL hatred4non,
Religion was created for the masses - to control; nothing more, nothing less. It's human nature to want to believe there's a heaven for the after-life, but that's a human creation. There ain't no such place. Dust to dust...

That is correct ci. It wasn't created for chiclids. Where you have a problem I think is that by rejecting religion you feel yourself qualified as not one of the masses.

Beer was created for the masses and so it is consistent for you to opt for Martini Vodkas. Do you require a plastic pink umbrella in your's to keep the rain out?

You're "up there" ci.

@cicerone imposter,
Luv4Al should perhaps declare his membership of the Ahmadiyya muslim movement who appear to claim messianic status for its founders. They have been banned and persecuted by other muslims.

Not a problem at all, spendi. I'm one of those "odd" people who think for myself, and live accordingly. I refuse to be one of the sheep that follows its leader without questioning the veracity of what they are told to believe.

I was poking fun -- maybe on A2K and earlier on Abuzz (right?) we have members of the icon class.

@aperson,
Seriously... I know I've said this before and will probably get whacked for saying it again but I just can't help myself here... *sigh* Evolution makes zero sense when you tell me I "evolved" from something that STILL EXISTS.

@Treya,
My God there are some shitheads in this world! All offense intended; I really don't care for being nice and polite and explaining every little ridiculously obvious detail to blindly-following, stubborn, ignorant, mindless cretins like you anymore. I'm fed up. Take a Biology class on evolution, go on, I dare you. It doesn't even have to be university level. Just a basic, high school class for teenagers. Read a textbook. Don't just go around spewing your uninformed sewage over every normal, logical person who understands and respects mainstream, basic science. Get educated for ****'s sake. Humans and chimps came from a COMMON ANCESTOR. Try to get that into your ******* head if you can, you retarded, worthless piece of ****.

Well done, you just received my most abusive and violently rude post in my three years here at A2K. And go ahead, have a go at me for it. I honestly couldn't care less. I make no apologies.

@aperson,
Apologies are un-neccessary and pointless ap. We are here to allow people to vent their pent up rage.

If you have a boil up your arse which is creasing you or some frustrations in your personal life due to your character defects it is well known that explosions of vituperative anger, even when couched in school playground language, can provide a catharsis and help you to feel, at least for a short time, a little better about yourself.

I feel sure that Treya is an understanding person and is happy to have been the subject of your treatment.

Such treatment is more effective when tried on policemen, wrestlers and lumberjacks when they have just come out of church.

@Treya,
As the "pope" said;

Quote:
A little learning is a dangerous thing;

Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian

spring;

There shallow draughts intoxicate the

brain,

And drinking largely sobers us again.

There is a rule in evolution that states
"contemporeneity precludes descendancy"

If A and B live at the same time, A couldnt descend from B now could he (or she). What weve found is that both A and B were descended from somebody else (say C) who is now extinct.

So, if you could spend some more time in actual learning the subject, you wouldnt send aperson all postal.

Aperson shouldn't hold back like that, he'll do himself an injury. He should tell us how he really feels . . .

I believe aperson is only sixteen years old. I wonder what he will be like at Frank Apisa's age.
