I had one like that in a deli in the Pacific Northwest about a year ago. It was on some great multigrain bread. Delicious! I didn't remember it 'til now.
During photo shoots in Chicago several years ago, I had one photographer who ordered the most incredible sandwiches from his favorite deli for lunch and that one was my favorite. I've yet to recreate it exactly (they baked their own breads with secret ingredients or something)) but the combo on a good bread?-like a multi-grain?-is still yummy.
