Effectiveness of hearing aids really depends on the loss -- if the loss is too severe, in-the-ear won't be powerful enough, for example. But from what she says, I do think that dlowan will find something really helpful. Hope $$ won't be too much of an issue.

I am finding my hearing goes back to pre-illness levels, if I keep taking 12 hour Demazin! Drives me nutty cos it makes me tachycardic - but at least I know the hearing is still there - still needa hearing aid before long though...
