Here's what law enforcement has come to these days - choke-slamming kids and acting like pompous f*cking pricks as much as possible.

When the cop in the second video starts going on about how 9/11 justifies harassing kids who are skateboarding, I just about lost my lunch.

Had to revive this old thread.

http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/08/30/police_raids/index.html

Police in Minneapolis are raiding houses of 'suspected protesters' in advance of the RNC convention, without warrants, and severely violating the Constitutional rights of people there. Swat teams with semi-auto weapons.

******* pigs. Cops have become nothing but legalized gangs.

@Cycloptichorn,
Suspected of a non-crime? Sounds pretty bad.

@Cycloptichorn,
once you shred the constitution for one cause it is gone for all. Americans should have not allowed it. One of the first results of a lack of constitutional protections is that law enforcement would become more aggressive. This problem has been getting worse since the mid eighties, with no end in sight. If Americans ever get fed up with being manipulated by the politics of fear then I will start hoping for a change in course.

@Cycloptichorn,
http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080822/OPINION08/808220420/1291/OPINION08

Indianapolis, ten officers arrested in just the last few months.

http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp?s=8897549

Eight Madison police officers have been arrested within the last two years and the police chief has been suspended.

It isn't like these police abuses are uncommon. On the contrary. It is the crackdown on them which is uncommon.
