Which is correct and more commonly used in spoken English?

A. a year and a half
B. one and a half year
C. one and half years

I'm confused =.=

A is correct.

C is correct IF you add an "a". Thus:

one and a half years

It's just one of those rules you gotta "know". Don't ask for a reason for things being the way they are.

I think "one year and a half" is correct.
A is also OK.
