Help me get pregnant. Need some advice if you're in the know

One thing that made a big impression on me when I first started to try to become pregnant is that all the rules I knew as someone trying NOT to get pregnant suddently shifted big-time when I started trying TO get pregnant.

As in, the minute you stop taking birth control, you CAN get pregnant. It's a big enough chance when you're trying not to that it's easy to form a no birth control = pregnant equation. But really, if you're trying to get pregnant, it's pretty rare that it happens the first try after you've stopped birth control. Not vanishingly rare -- it happens, for sure. But if the point is to maximize chances, all the advice I got (two regular doctors and two OB/GYNs) is to be OFF of birth control for at least three months before even attempting. Not because anything bad would happen -- not birth defects or anything -- just because the chances were so low, and trying and "failing" can take an emotional toll.

Yeah, it is starting to sound like the best thing to do is to get off the pill.

Whenever it does happen, I can't wait to feel a baby inside of me again.

hey i understand what you are going through. i been on the depo injection, since then my periods have been haywire, ive been off that 4 over a year. now thedocs have put me on utovlan but i want 2 get pregnant with my second.
