Offbeat things?

Okey-dokey.

1. Robot, Tool and I Love Jelly (the three aliens)

2. The satisfying snap of Legos when I need to keep my mind blank and my hands full.

3. Third shift Converse sneakers.

4. That I still get to mow my lawn in November. When mowing my own lawn isn't enough I can sneak around and mow the neighbor's lawns while they're at work and they don't care.

5. The absolute beauty of imperfection.

6. That I found two tubes of original flavor Arm and Hammer toothpaste stuck in the back of the bottom shelf at Target the other day, ending a long search and a sad reliance on mint flavored Arm and Hammer toothpaste.

7. Magazines in my mailbox.

8. The way the bathroom smells after Mr. B takes his morning shower.

9. Chalkboard paint.

10. That thing that Kathy said the other day.

Robot, Tool and I Love Jelly are responsible for all the nutty things that happen around here.

They're all horrid but I Love Jelly is the real troublemaker.

None of it is my fault.

I'm thankful for being off the hook.
