What does the phrase generosity and determination can give you unexpected surprises mean?
I've never heard that before, so, although it is correct English, it is not necessarily prosaic. (Not that i'm the ultimate source, but i don't think that is a common expression in English.)
Reading it here for the first time, i suspect that the author intends to imply that anyone who is determined (to acheive their goals?) and generous can expect that unforeseen benefits will accrue to them.
It sounds a bit like it came from a fortune cookie. I'm still try to figure out what an expected surprise might be.
