I need some help.
Does anyone know where I can purchase works of literature in their original languages?
For example, if I wanted a copy of Faust in German or Le Comte de Monte Cristo in French, where can I find it?
amazon, you can order the -original- books via any of their various websites.
I would test out which one is the cheapest (re postage) to your place (Nederland, I would think).
I don't understand. Which various websites?
Like amazon.de or amazon.fr or amazon.co.uk ... ...
Amazon has sites in various countries, and due to customs/postage etc the total price may vary.
Oh yes, I'm aware of those international sites but they're very limited. What if I wanted something in Romanian or Portuguese?
I would try your local bookshop if you can't find it online.
No, the problem with "You can read this" is the language.
If he can read the books he is looking for, then he can find them on the internet...
You are somewhat correct Francis. I can read in those languages. Though I can certainly try to look for them online, I was wondering if there were any sales services available in English (my primary language) for literature and language lovers like me. One of my primary purposes is to improve my reading skills. No, I'm not from Nederland. My screenname was just a random thought.
Thanks for the help
I have the same question, except I don't know how to read in those languages. What then?
There are some good foreign picture books and easily to get comics ...
