NEED A 5 LETTER WORD

need a 5 letter word with a long "A" sound and the clue is "it flies in the sky". The answer is NOT plane which is the only thing we could think of. Blake was smart enough to come up with sleigh which of course isn't five letter but made me realize that you can still get the "A" sound without have an "A" in it...
