What's the meaning of the word "vegetize". They vegetize you? what does it mean.

I would say that the (new) word ?'vegetize' means; to turn into.

?'If you watch TV for 12 hours a day, you will vegetize.' (Turn into a vegetable due to lack of movement)

You can vegetize your diet. (Turn a meat recipe into a vegetarian one) Or, to remove all ?'flesh' from the ingredients.

There's an entry for vegetizing in the OED.

vegetizing, ppl. a.

Vegetarian.

1857 Tait's Mag. XXIV. 6 Those vegetising friends, whose finer feelings are said to be distressed horribly at the smell of hot joints.
