Geez, my ex wrote a screenplay that involved, trying to remember, UPS type guys in the LA area and, at some point, some colonics. I nag him about trying to promote it, once in a while, about every five years. Back when we were together, I nattered to him about not selling out, in particular re porn. He listened to that and does serious plays. Or maybe it wasn't listening to me, but growing up. Still, some of his non filmed writing was very funny, the colonics stuff in particular.

Osso, somehow I consider colonics to be inherently funny. What I don't find humorous is the vasectomy. Correct that. I remember when my doctor said something like "opps" during the surgery. I raised my head at a 30 degree angle and asked, "Doctor, did you say oops?"
In retrospect I consider that a bit funny.
I've heard a couple of surgeons say that they've trained themselves to say, "That's interesting," when what they really want to say is, "Oh, ****."
Yes, I would have preferred "That's interesting." But I still would have asked him something like "What (the hell's) interesting?"
