Please help me translate the following 4 Japanese names in English spelling forms back to either Japanese or Chinese form.

Yoshihide Suga [one of the governing Liberal Democratic Party's most conservative members]

Hakubun Shimomura [deputy chief Cabinet secretary of Abe's new government]

Takashi Tachibana [a commentator and author who has written about Japan's prewar intellectual class]

Masahiko Fujiwara [author of "Dignity of a State"]

Also, help me determine the meaning of "foreign adventures" in the following context.
Are the Japanese really prepared to surrender their breathtaking materialism for the (sort of foreign adventures) that brought ruin upon their grandparents' generation?
