It's Saturday all over again...... Seems like each morning I awaken another week is gone - - - where does all the time go??

all clicked.

Stradee, I looked again this morning and found nothing re the YariguĂes Tribe - only the same lines we read in the bird report. Sounds a lot like Masada of years ago - mass suicide rather than be captured. Sad.

--------- - - - -----------

Back to report - I have just downloaded and installed the new Internet Explorer 7 browser - - - I am completely happy with the download - it was simple and installed seamlessly. So far, my computer is working much better with faster surfing than before.

The buttons and taskbars are slightly different but, all is still there as before - -

I will keep you posted.

Fingers and toes and eyes and legs and all crossed while knocking on wood. Shocked

Very Happy

Hi Aa! Glad you stopped in to say howdy! ((((Waving))))

Dan, my house is a menagerie - outside the wildlife enjoy sitting on the lawns and they rest near the north portion of the property then herd to the the safety of the canyon just about a quarter mile from the house. My herd of kittens rule the house and the porch though. Hilarious

Dan, did you receive a prompt from msn for installing Explorer 7? The Active X feature is a bit unnerving because i haven't a clue what the heck its for!

Stradee, check this info site for def for ActiveX -

http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/A/ActiveX_control.html

It is similar to other download helpers - but, is unique to MicroSoft's Windows.

I have had it in my machine for years with no problem.

I subscribe to sites which give up to date news re computer stuff - that's where I knew about the new system. I had been following it's development for quite some time now and this was the first day it was available as a download. I read several reports about how reliable it is and all were favorable - I subscribe to the LangaListPlus reports also - he is very trustworthy.

ehBeth, thanks for the updates...........bussy

* Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day - - - Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Posting is difficult from here. I seem to pick out the times when the hamsters are on break.

We are still having warm, mild golden October days. Lovely, although I have no time for being outside-but seeing sun and blue sky makes me smile.

Stradee, re the link - - - "Ongee Dongee Kikoway"

or

"Ongee Dongee Kegoree"

I forget which one applies...............!! Shocked

What is meant to be said is = "Any time, my pleasure." Very Happy

However, (whichever one it is???) Shocked - - - the other one says, "Any time, Frog." Embarrassed

Many GI's in Korea get that phrase mixed up - resulting in a lot of giggles among the locals.

Oh yeah,

* No NFL Team playing in it's home stadium ever won a superbowl.

* Avg life of a Major League baseball is 7 pitches.

* The only 15 letter word not repeating a letter = uncopyrightable.

* Clans of old who dismissed employees burned their homes = got fired.

Hi Amigo, glad you stopped by.....

-------------

* In Cleveland, OH it's illegal to catch mice without a hunting license.

* The phrase, "the whole nine yards", probably refers to WWII fighter planes returning to base after firing all their ammo. The belts holding the ammo were each 27 feet long - so nine yards.

* The "Rule of Thumb" probably started in Olde England - where it was law that a man could only beat his wife with a stick no bigger than his thumb. Shocked

* The name "Jeep" came from WWII GI's refering to the "General Purpose Vehicle (GP)"
