I'm 26, she is 20. I can see a future with this woman, more than just a physical thing. Will this age difference be alot. Maybe in 3-4 yrs it won't be alot, but what about right now.

Me= out of college and working

Her=in community college, but she's kind of old fasioned in the sense that she only has serious boyfriends and no one night stands.

Well, there will be differences. You probably have more experience with life/people, but maybe not. (I'm not speaking of sex, but the full range of experiences.) You are both in early adulthood with a lot of years ahead.

Take it easy, enjoy the early romantic phase, communicate a lot, and maybe it will grow into a long loving relationship.

People will talk, bc they always do. Do you care?

How long have you been seeing each other? If it's new, just roll with it and see!

None, really if i don't listen to other people.

But peole may be telling me in a couple of weeks, "i told you so".

but that's ok, cause i'll know that i let thing happen naturatly and it wasn't the age thing. possibly it was something else, not age.

But i'm just enjoying her company right now. the scenery is VERY enjoyable when i'm in her presence. That's almost worth it just by itself if you know what i mean.

You're older, and wiser for it. At this age the age difference is significant. But I don't think it matters. I've dated women much younger, and much older, than myself...if you like each other, that's all that really matters. Just be.

I dated a twenty-year old back when I was in my early 70's.

A few people stared and one woman actually was vomiting, but I did'nt care.

Oh dude, go and enjoy yourself!

It's not every day we meet someone we really like. You'll never know unless you give it a shot, right?!

And if they say "I told you so", just tell 'em "It was worth it." Smile

Those were the good old days, eh, Gus. It was totally worth it - I had a grrreat time. Changed my view of older men forever.

When I was 20 I was dating and really into this girl who was my age. After about six months she broke up with me and started dating a 26 year old guy. At the time that seemed so old to me and I couldn't believe she would date someone so old.

I think she ended up marrying the guy and they are both quite happy.

also now that I am 25 the difference between 20 and 25 doesn't seem that big at all and really maturity wise is not.

so go for it if you really like her. it's not like you thirty afterall Wink
