I need help with comparing John Betjeman's poems. The poems I need to compare is:

A Subaltern's Love-song
In a bath teashop
Devonshire Street W.1
Business Girls
A child ill
As I walked out one evening

An analysis of one poem will also be okay.

Thank you.

I tell you what: You do your homework and compare these poems
and afterwards, we'll comment on it. How's that?

Doing your homework for you, isn't an option here at a2k Wink

I have been sitting with a pen and paper for hours (not exaggerating) and I have tried my best and that is why I need a few pointers or something. I don't want someone to do my homework for me.

Just search up those poems on google or something, and compare the differences and similarities. Try to note if the way he speaks is somewhat different, and point out if the topic of the poem is different too. What does the poem speak about? How about the other poems?
Start out with questions like this:

The poems are different because...
The poems are also similar because...
I like this poem because...
I don't like this poem because...

Note the differences, and write about them.
