A truly sad tale. One cannot help but be terribly saddened by such a terrible event.

I tend to agree with kev, after reading this.
Aww.... I can never understand how people can be so cruel! Even though she was mentally disturbed, still -what kind of person would place an animal in boiling water and then abandon it? It's just sad.
This reminds me of a movie I watched today, "Jakob the Liar" where a similar thing was done to a Jewish man. It disgusted me. I felt really sick to my stomache after watching it.
And thinking that was actually done in reality... How could people have DONE that???
