Your not for real you mate, get back in class, the holiday period is coming to an end.

As for you Spendi, your the original jerk!

I'd have thought that after all the washings you'd had on here, be it from me or your Yankee mates on the egg head channel performing their tasks with the utmost concern one with sense would realise he was out of his depth. You keep resurrecting yourself like an out of date prophet of simplistic affliction.

That's amusing too when you contradict like an idiotic ghastly scar on the pages of designation, no doubt thinking you have established a thought, when in fact the meanderings are those of a first class oink!

It only remains for the enlightened ones to respond with accounts your incapable of meditating, let alone writing, how sad for you.

A little like the house burglar who comes with all his defences intact until apprehended, then you start blubbering like the perpetrator of falsities you have become accustomed to.

Have you any idea how ridiculous you look from the outside looking in?

You need to join forces with this creep, perhaps the two of you could remain firm in trust and friendship, by introducing more rules and conditions just to keep everything on your side and attempt to maintain a reputation, no doubt one you will hold dear to each other like two slugs under a moss covered stone.

Make yourselves a pledge of of control and winch in a few more whilst your at it, after all you want to unfurl your glory again and again, without a moral stain, the rank my friend is simply a guinea stamp, the man himself the gold.

Well back to work for me, have fun in your little world of impiety and treason.

I really enjoyed Mathos asserting that I "contradict like an idiotic ghastly scar on the pages of designation, no doubt thinking you have established a thought, when in fact the meanderings are those of a first class oink! "

It makes a pleasant change to see an effort to go beyond the anti-IDers usual expression on that matter which I won't repeat on this British thread in deference to Ms smorgs who makes the running and sets the standards in those respects.

It does have a style. And I admire style more than relative obnoxiousness.

The line is worthy of a place in a movie. Other readers here may be able to create in their mind's eye a suitable scene for it's declamation by an actor- John Cleese say or Sid James.

You would need someone who could say "contradict like an idiotic ghastly scar on the pages of designation " without laughing. Even to a mirror practicing.

Very much so old boy. I am perfectly aware of how ridiculous I look just as I am perfectly aware of how ridiculous you look but you look more ridiculous than me because you don't know how ridiculous you look and I do because I know how ridiculous I look and that makes my ridiculousness less ridiculous than your ridiculousness.

However-I did think that-

was a bit limp. Was there an interval between the first part and the last.

There was a definite falling off of energy. Had you been having a qu......?

I never know what to do when there is trouble like this!

I always just want to smooth conflict, and kiss everyone better.

If I post - I feel disloyal to Ellpus, and I don't want to, as I like him very much. He infuriates me sometimes... but people you like very much have that effect on you. Ellpus is a charming man, loyal and caring. He has no real delussions of grandeur, I have (personally) never detected a genuine whiff of pomp about him. He's a down to earth guy, funny and kind, sincere and thoughtful. I adore him. But it's obvious he's a sensitive soul. In a family (whether you like the analogy or not - it's reality, we can't help it, we behave like a community/family, we adopt roles, it's innate) the sensitive ones often get stamped on my the other, stronger, more confident members, however unintentional.

I think dedpad was wrong to report the posts - I've seen much worse on other threads. It seems that only blanket condemnation and hatred goes unreported. But he's obviously a man of conscience and that's to be admired. It's rare and to be valued. Also, it is his right to report the posts, and we would all stand up for those rights. He didn't do it anonymously - he stated it, right here. I have the utmost respect for him.

Mathos is an erudite man, I gasp at his vocabulary. I love men who write well, Ellpus also has this gift. Mathos is a funny, sarcastic, quite sexy/flirty with the laydees, intelligent, confident bastard! The spendy/mathos sparring, form some of the bests posts on A2K I've ever seen, dare ANYONE to say they are not! A2K and this thread, in particular, would be a much poorer place without him - and we know it.

spendy,spendie,suspendy,spurious,sir spendy unwin...

Don't you just love the guy? I do... I can't help it. I always look on the ID thread - love it! I occasionally just call in and make a crass comment, just to see what spends says back. I've said this before - he's NEVER boring, and we all read his **** - including mathos. But sometimes spendy's posts need a lot of deciphering... he knows it - we know it. When this thread first started, I didn't think he would post on it - but I'm glad he does! He belongs here with us - it's his natural cyberhome, a place where he can rest his un-washed head, spout **** and we just say 'yeah right'. And if you kick off spendy - I don't giva a ...

We CAN sort this out ourselves...

We are bound to kick off every now and again! Otherwise we would be...be... American! There, I said it!

Awe come on...

Please?

If Dorothy Parker knew what mayhem she is causing with her MYFANWY entries, she would be ashamed of what she was causing.

What is a Yankee? <get it right, Mathos>

Anywhere in the world, a Yankee is an American.
Anywhere in America, a Yankee is someone who lives north of the Mason-Dixon line.
To a northerner, a Yankee is someone from New England
To a New Englander, a Yankee is a Vermonter (some would say Maine)
To a Vermonter, a Yankee is someone who eats apple pie with cheddar cheese for breakfast.

I eat my cheese pieless.

JPB,

I didn't mean any offence - especially not to you...

I just meant that Englanders are more prone to argument and a lot less polite then their cousins.

I agree, I think it's a fine thread.

...and when Lord E, dismounts his high horse - he'll be back!

Even though Mathos (the bastard) gave him the 'leggy up'

And we can get back to the bickering, and The British can bicker like no other, and the telly, domestic dramas, weather reports, smut and sport (though I always get bored when they go all sporty).
