(if you call me a pom again - I'm going to come to Australia, sunbathe, eat great food, see fantastic scenery, meet nice people, then when I'm well rested - I'll kick your head in)

Okay once I've had a good scratch I'm off to the airport and I'll see you in two weeks.
Try not to start WWIII while I'm away.

There was a crooked man,
who walked a crooked mile,
he found a crocked sixpence
upon a crooked stile,
he bought a crooked cat
which caught a crooked mouse,
and they all live together
in a crooked little house.

Exactly what do I have to say sorry for?

I'll go so far as saying that I find the guy quite funny, and was beginning to quite like him, apart from the fact that he will persist in jibing me for no apparent reason.

Good enough?

That's on a Lavenham postcard send by Mrs Walter ... which arrived here two days after being posted (thanks to DHL powered by German Post)

There was a time when we queued up in a main post office in a town not far from Mr Walter....to buy a stamp...and they had run out of stamps. That is as far as I know the only recorded instance of German inefficiency.

Now, come on. That is a very short version of what happened
(As a civil servant, smorgs will completely understand this):
- those stamps you wanted, where in a drwawer at a counter where the person in charge of was on break. And the others didn't have a key for it ...

Of course, sweetyhoneypiepeachybum

always...

But it WAS Mathos's fault really - I shall chastise him later. He'll probably be out about somewhere in a 4 X 4 gas guzzler, totally disregarding his massive carbon wellie-print, wearing a waxed jacket.

He's posh - I bet he eats a chicken tikka wrap from Marks and Spencer's for his lunch.

I have tongue...
