One thing seemingly lacking in your knowledge smorgsy is that the female liver is appreciably smaller than that of males and thus alcohol has a more deleterious effect on ladies than on gentlemen. And by quite a margin.

I am aware of this... thanks

I have difficulty metabolising alcohol anyway - I really shouldn't drink at all... but most of us do things we shouldn't, that's what makes us human.

But I hardly ever drink. I suppose the occasional binge does more harm than maybe a couple of glasses a day?

It is a ghost coming though isnt it. Mr G says there are no ghosts he says your being a silly girl Lyn But there are some, because you go to be a ghost when you die.

Maybe it's a "different" kind of sniff. All lined up and ready to go?

Methinks Miss Lyn may come from the Billingsgate area of London.

Is that correct, Miss Lyn?

I'm feeling better now, just had a batth...

Went to the shops and saw loads of police vans and cars with sirens blaring rushing down the main route into Manchester City center - hope nothings going on!

You can't really go into the centre due to the Labour party conf. and some numbskull having his laptop with the security arrangements stolen!

I wish they would bugger off back to Blackpool!

Blackpool proved to be too windy for Mrs Prescott's beehive.

Now there's a proper feminine attitude to politics I must say.

Would that they were all so sensible.

Have you seen Blackpool of late?

I drove through earlier today and its a total **** hole!

If they build a Caesars Palace there and get the place turned into a leisure and pleasure resort instead of the last resort it will once again rise as a tribute to Lancashire (even if they do call it Fylde.)

Looks like you had a good night smorgs! Didn't know Spendi would be up to chastising you though just for letting your hair down like that. Actually if you read between the lines and follow his drinking patterns you could almost sniff the pangs of envy and sheer jealousy there.

Incidentally '**** for brains' we don't want sensible women, they only act like Margaret Thatcher and Margaret Becket!

The cockney lass as well, she needs an optician, Lord Ellpus, handsome? I haven't stopped laughing at that yet!

Mathos, the compliments paid to me were just brushed aside, as I had an uneasy feeling about accepting them from someone who, in my opinion, is probably not a cockney, nor a lass.

That was the gist of my last post.
