wow, what a co-incidence. I can do all that (terribly). Except playing the piano...actually not true I can play the notes but not, in the immortal words of Eric Morcambe, necessarily in the right order.

ok draw a picture for us. Please.

I'll have you know young woman that I was invited onto this thread. I had never heard of the forum before then. It was a flyover forum on my way back and forth between Trivia and the posh end.

Should the gracious hostess of the thread express a similar sentiment as you have I will of course depart but not until then.

Singing, dancing, playing the piano and drawing are not much use on here. Perhaps you might be better engaging in those activities where they can be appreciated. They can be asserted on here. Veterans, such as myself, tend to be wary of such assertions whilst allowing that they may very well be true.

So jazz it up then. Show us how to not be boring.

Hi again DP. You can do what you like on this thread, as far as I am concerned.
There has been quite a bit done to turn it to the negative already, so it will probably go t*ts up anyway, before too long.

We'll just have to start another thread, and hope it stays full of goodwill, and contains the minimum of nitpicking.

Go ahead, run riot.............

We posted together your Highness.

I intended that for Dottie who seems to have got the idea she's giving the orders after telling us we are boring. In your rush to ingratiate yourself with her you seem to have forgotten that.

And she hasn't said one interesting thing yet.

Don't you see? If you let them get away with that they never have to learn to say anything interesting ever and some poor young lad reaps the reward.

It is certainly not for me to tell anyone what to do, and what not to do, unless they have directly done something like a personal attack.
When someone expresses an opinion (this is boring), and then gets told that she is whingeing, she has every right to come back with an equally insulting reply, if she honestly feels that she is expressing a valid opinion.

In this case, I think she is right. The thread HAS become boring, mainly, IMO, because you have introduced an element of nastiness.

The thread was ticking over quite nicely before you entered the scene, and now look at it.

DP has every right to tell you to ****off, partly because you are boring her, partly because of your condescending and quite overbearing reply.

Don't forget, Bendy, that this thread is open to ALL Brits, not just the ones that consider themselves to be intellectually superior, or more worldly wise when it comes to obscure poetry, or quotes from books and famous authors, that frankly, apar from being quite rambling, are usually totally irrelevant and only placed there to show everyone how supposedly learned you are.

I take my leave of this thread now, after maybe one or two more replies to you if/when you try to belittle my present post with your usual weasly words.

My next few replies to you will be short and sweet, believe me.

Excuse any typos, you aren't worth the extra effort to check it all, as far as I am concerned.

Btw spendy, Lordy does not need to ingratiate himself to me, I liked him from the start. You, on the other hand, are as interesting to me as I am to you.

....and YOU, DP, are just a horrible little girl who always beats me at insults on that damn thread.

"Dribbling urine again" was a classic. It hurt me deeply, but you don't care how much my therapy is going to cost, do you.

I shall get my own back, one day....

That's it, I can't hang around all night, waiting for Bendy to come back and bite my bum.

Someone knock on my door if he arrives, will you?

Bye.
