Well, there's definitely one (sticks hand up) that's been quietly nursing a slight headache, brought on by one or two too many beers last night.

I also lost my voice after having spent most of the evening sat next to a stone deaf party host who refused to turn up his hearing aid.

Happy days........

You've just cheered me up a bit, Steve. Feel better already.
I've always liked Alan Curbishley, and was worried that he'd made a mistake by going to West Ham. Early days, but he might just turn them around.

Bon soir all.

Been recovering all day from a terrible hangover brought on by the night out from hell in a lovely place called Stockport last night.

My friends and I were very nearly beaten up by the locals in a nightclub after one of us accidentally bumped into someone. What made it worse was that the friend whose birthday we were "celebrating" had made us all wear red sparkly cowboy hats so we were extra easy to pick out in the crowd.

Knew I shouldn't have bothered. When will I learn to trust my instinct?

How's everyone? Still going on about sport I see.

Good new drama on BBC1 tonight, apparently.

"Born Equal" starts at 9pm.

Colin Firth and Robert Carlysle are in it, so it should be pretty good.

Stockport isn't that bad young Dorothy, they used to send the afflicted to live there years ago, maybe the breeding has gone astray.

Don't know why you don't stick to places you know when your going out. Me and Ralph went out for a drink Friday night, and only got home at tea time today. My missus is giving me some black looks...

Blackpool was fun, Liverpool was better, then we got a lift to Accrington to a party, it was aces! That took us to Sunday morning. We decided it would be apt to go to Church. So we walked to Church, a little village on the outskirts of Blackburn, we went to a club for the afternoon and I think we ended up having communion, well Ralph was annointing everybody with beer, and we were asked to leave.

Some people are very miserable aren't they?

A lady should never give away her age.

How can any bloke fancy a lady who has a bus pass. I've fancied one or two grannies in my time, I knew one who was only 34, but a buss pass.

I ask you?

Why would he take offence? Who knows? People take offence at the strangest things round here so I thought I would pre-empt it.

Believe me it was not my idea to go there but the birthday girl herself. The Poco was not the venue, I can't even remeber what it was called. We visited 3 bars that night and they were all equally shite.

Laughing

Joking aside, it's really pissing me off the way news reports are referring to those poor murdered women as "PROSTITUTES" rather than "women who worked as prostitutes".

They wouldn't say "5 murdered accountants.." would they?
