Yes, you understood htat correctly - nearly: that 'bible and other books were publications intended to serve the war against the "eternal Jewish enemy".

It wasn't thought to be an own, new religion but the work was done/accompanied be loyal Evangelical (Protestant) theologians from the "German Christian" movement within the Evangelical Church of Germany.

And: that bible wasn't "found" now - the tabloid Bild only reported about that recently ('silly season').

Anti-semitism has always baffled me. Some of the greatest contributors to humanity have been of Jewish desent. Great doctors who have found cures for diseases, scientists such as Einstein, great comedians and actors. Why would anyone want to wipe that out?

Was he a Nordic too?

Already many painters of the West have painted him with blond hair and blue eyes.

Other painters have portrayed him as being dark skinned. No one really knows. And notice he's never been shown smiling.

Obviously he had brownish/tanned skin and black or dark brown hair as he was a native of Levant. But it does not really matter if he was an Aryan or a Semite, as he represents a moral and a religion followed in all the parts of the world today. Even if some painters present him as a Nordic or a Negro, this must not be surprising or disturbing .
