Lately, I have been keeping track of the events happening between Israel and Lebanon. I just want to know how this all started? And is really their intention in going to war with these hezbollah groups... pls. enligten me?
The current chaos is just the most recent itteration of a conflict dating to the closing decades of the 19th Century. Here's a superficial
Overview to get you started; you could devote a lifetime of study to the ongoing mess and still come up with no good answers - anyone claiming to have an answer to the problem has little functional knowledge of the problem..
Some might (will) say this is an overly left-of-centre viewpoint, but I recommend it to you

After reading all the articles you recommended, why does the U.S. government remain silent in this issue? which I think should be one of their main priorities since Lebanon is a protectorate of Christian ure against majorly Muslim Middle East. Should this be one of the strategy target of U.S penetration in the east aside from the war with Iraq and possible conflict with Iran?
