What is the verb phrase in this sentence?

The weather is perfect for gardening.

In this sentence, the verb is is.

THE WEATHER = subject
IS = verb
PERFECT = predicate adjective
FOR FLYING = prepositional phrase

The weather is perfect for gardening.

Everything after the subject, "the weather" is the verb phrase.
