A French farmer faces prosecution for driving on public roads in a vegetable-powered truck.
Olivier Lainé, a cereals farmer based near Rouen in Normandy, believes he will go down in history, not as a criminal, or tax-evader, but a "revolutionary".

I'm surprised anyone would even notice. I know a couple of people who drive "grease cars" and the only thing different about them is that they smell like a McDonald's.
Well, governments will get their highway use tax, won't they? So far as I know, this hasn't been explored in regards to pure electric vehicles, but when it is, I don't think we will like their (governments') conclusions.
This might be the beginning of a whole new French Revolution.
Soon all the farmers may take over the country side and begin decapitating innocent vegetables who do not see things their way.
This could usher in a whole new age of terror for vegetables everywhere.
The French Gov't. needs to nip this one in the bud.

"Let them burn grease" does not have the ring to it as does "Let them eat cake."
Of course, it might sound better in French
