When a women is on birth control, does taking other drugs such as ibuprofen or drinking a lot of caffeine greatly alter the pill's effectiveness? I've read that being on anti-biotics does, but what about these other more common things? thanks!

I have only heard of certain antibiotics, not anything else - I have taken aspirin, ibuprofen or other over-the counter medications and never had a pregnancy while taking the pill. The pamphlet you get with your prescription should let you know what could potentially be an issue.
