A few days ago the lady Diane and our neighbor were taliing over the fence about this and that and chocolate ( I adore our neighbor even though she is a closet christian and a registered republican) and she remarked "Dys, well you have to understand he is an alpha male and will alays be so"
I took offense as I am (in my own mind) the most passive, non-aggresive person I know. Kinda funny how we see ourselves and how others see us, ain't it?
I don't think you need to worry. No one could seriously accuse you of that.

Your reassurance is greatly appreciated, I highly value your opinion.
No! She's not?
(I like their neighbor too.)
Looking at ourselves must be something like walking through a funhouse of mirrors, each mirror another's viewpoint.

Hahaha, that's the best reply of the day!
I don't recall you asking permission to be alpha, Dys.
He's Stealth Alpha in a very sneaky, yet cower-inducing way. Only the advanced realize they are cowering.
It's a very complicated scenario. I've been recording my observations.
Funny; he don't look like Alfalfa to me.
He beat down that one unruly hair.
...
or maybe not.
Strength of character is strength of character hoss....you don't have to be aggressive, pushy or overly macho to be considered an alpha.
