two guy are staring at the window in a train and the first is saying :
see that left.

the second replies :
Yeah, I didn't see a left but it was a good right.

no context whatsoever.

i have no idea why this should be so funny and i guess i don't understand the answer.
can anyone explain that joke to me and tell me what "it was a good right" mean?

The reference seems to boxing -" a left" and a "right" being punches with those hands. The joke is that when looking in the reflection in a window, when one guy demonstrates "a left" the other will see its mirror image.

I didn't think it was funny, and to tell you the truth, I didn't understand the joke, but I told it to dag over at another thread and she had an entirely different reaction...
