a surfer talking: we went to the beach and saw how good the waves were, we were looking at each other doing the robot, we knew why we were born.
what is this robot thing?
except for a hip hop dance (and it's not that in this case), i don't know what it could be.
any idea anyone?
Hard to know for sure, but from context I think yes, it's the dance -- they were so happy when they saw the waves that they looked at each other and did a little dance (the robot). Like, an expression of happiness. I can visualize it.
