"there's no way it changed (the setting) since we drove ten minutes"

what means since in this sentence?

it's not going to change if we drive another ten minutes?
it couldn't have changed because we only drove ten minutes?
or something else?

thanks in advance for answers:)

The second: We only drove 10 minutes, therefore it couldn't have changed.

"there's no way it changed (during the time) we drove ten minutes"

Since: implies a passage of time.

Since you'be been gone, all I've had is a band of gold.
