"That's the luck of this trip if it wasn't for bad luck we'd have no luck at all."
here, the person is talking about an accident he had with his mobile home during a trip. the trip was going very smooth and then, all of a sudden, a tire exploded.
In the Western world we talk about two kinds of luck: Good luck and Bad Luck. Here the speaker says, "If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all."
He has not good luck--only bad luck.
