the "ususal" response would be that whoever is saying something like this feels inferior himself, and all that blah blah blah....
In truth though, I think things are said, especially when drinking, without a thought in the world as to what is coming out of their mouths.
Sometimes when stuff is said, in order to understand the "why" you'd need a year or more to examine every pychological aspect of that person. Which obviously can't be done when a remark is made just in passing.
Sitting here having my first cup of coffee, so I might sound like an idiot or a genius
....But it seems like some of the things a relative stranger says can be viewed as brief bursts of static in the show of life....might be some coded message from Jesus or aliens in the static....but from an immediate point of view, just meaningless crackle.
I know what you mean mg...something will happen that will bring up a memory of something from years, decades ago. The object for me is to deal with the memory through who I am today.
Does that make sense?
