I have looked it up and come up with Amor et Protego. Can anyone help?
"Amor" is a noun and "Protego" is the verb "I Protect".
I assume you want both to be verbs.
I also assume you mean them to be imperatives (commands).
If so,
Ama et Protege (if addressing one person)
-or-
Amate et Protegite (if addressing more than one person)
Thanks George,
I am bit confused (easily done), but wan to make sure I get this right. I am having a tattoo and underneath it will be my childrens names, so I guess I needd it to show as either:
To love an protect
Love and protect
I love and protect
Can you help please. I'm sure you can.

OK, here's how each of those translates:
To love and protect
Amare et protegere
Love and protect
Ama et protege
I love and protect
Amo et protego
Top man, Thanks again and you have a great day.
