"I paid for my purchases and packed a support band with the gear we would need for the next 3 weeks"
the speaker paid for the goods and is loading them in a van.
what i don't understand is "packed a support band". what is he talking about ?
thanks in advance for answers:)
oops !
my bad again. it didn't say enough about the context. they're not talking about music at all.
the guy is a skateboarder who just went to a camping store to buy tents, mats...well, camping gear. he's not putting all the stuff into a white van.
so, if he's making an allusion to music (like the van looks like the ones used by support bands), i totally don't understand it and it's very weird.
Missprint or miss hearing of what the speaker said?
The skater would likely have a "support van" if they are travelling with spare boards/skates, wheels bearings etc.
both missprint and mishearing;)
i heard support band and the script says support band but yes, van makes a lot more sense, thanks:)
