This is a story of a command failure. It's also the story of a little know general but one many people have seen.

If you recall in the movie Patton, Gen. Patton got his first big command in WWII when he took over the II Corps in Tunisia. The general who had the job previously had just lost the Battle of Kasserine Pass and his corps was in shambles.

This is the story of that general, Lt. Gen. Lloyd Fredendall and his failure as a commander.
