I am not sure about the Chinese meaning of the phrase "lost-and-fiybd" in "The marriage advertisements in newspapers look like lost-and-found notices".Could you explain it ?Thank you .

A newpaper charges by the word for classified advertising. Consequently the Lost & Found ads as well as the employment ads and the dating ads are all terse.
