How important was the role of Falange within the Francoist state? Got 2000 word essay to write by friday, can anyone point me in the right direction? Any little bits of info would be much appreciated.

Shouldn't be too difficult to dig up enough info for a couple thousand words on the importance of the Falangists in Franco's Spain. Essentially, they're one and the same; the Falangists and Franco's relationship of dependence on and mutual influence with them WERE Francoist Spain. If I were to go into it off the toppa my head, I doubt I could hold myself to a mere couple thousand words and still feel I'd done the matter any justice.

Try Wikipedia: Falange; chase a few links from that page, and find out about the personalities and circumstances behind Franco's Spanish nationalist movement and its alliance with fascism.

Oh, BTW - according to the latest reports, Franco is still dead.
