Free elections mean nothing in a state that is occupied by a foreign army. If the Iraqi parliament voted today to expel the American troops, do you think that they would leave?
I think that if that happened, the President would think hard and long on whether to go, to try to negotiate for more time, or to refuse. However, your assertion was very specific and very extreme. You asserted that this new government is a US puppet. I'd like to know how you think we are controlling what laws get passed there.
