I know I spent hours watching them as a kid.

Now, I can really appreciate how well it was done for the time....

You know what else....all these kids, different colors, cute & not so cute boys and girls, skinny and fat, all poor (except for that stupid Waldo and his yacht), and not a word of discrimation that I can I remember.

Who was YOUR favorite character?

I lived Wheezer...

I came across this site with lil rascals sound bytes.....I especially appreciate the one called "the cake"

Yeah, Spanky was one of my favorites, second only to Alfalfa.

Did you know Robert Blake starting acting as a child and was one of the Rascals? He was in a few of the later ones.

I think the weirdest episode was the one where the Rascals find a giant living in a cave. The giant captures the kids and threatens to eat them. I don't remember how they escaped.

My grandparents named one of their English bulldogs "Wheezer".

There's a really REALLY early one where spanky is basically still a baby...he's just a toddler.

he's getting a bath and is splashing around in the basin. some water gets in his eye and he does the cutest little "blink, blink...BIG EYES"

so adorable....

Alfalfa was a favourite along with Spanky and Buckwheat. Gosh, I miss those guys.
