Claims that cord cells can help cure Alzheimers etc are speculative at best.
Indeed attempts at such storage could endanger lives of mother and child,increaSING THE CHANCES OF HAEMORRHAGING IN THE MOTHER.

Have you seen a baby delivered? Eighteen million people appear at the moment of truth....
Now, I have researched the cost/benefit of having the cord blood stored vs. donated and donation seems to be the way to go.
Why would storing it cause problems in the mother?
The cord is cut no matter what...except in those rare cases...we all know THOSE guys.
