There is a saying in English, "Practice makes perfect".
There are no short cuts to learning a new language. Practice and study take both time and energy, but eventually this time and energy will pay off in mastery of the language.
Simply saying, "I'm not a good student, help me," doesn't improve your English one bit.

Does your University Library have any recordings of English that you could play over and over?
Famous Speeches might be helpful. Orators tend to speak more slowly than newscasters.
