Hi ! I'm an English learner . Yesterday I met with some problem,It's about a sentence
Mr.wang devoted his whole life to the reseach work .Here can we chang the word"whole to "entire"

Mr.Wang devoted his entire life to the reseach work.

In this sentence, either the word "entire" or "whole" are equally correct.
