Question I wonder what is the meaning of "hit it off A-OK"?I have read it in my textbook.and the teacher did not explain very clearly. Thank you for your help!

To "hit it off" means that two people get along well together, when they first meet.

A-OK means perfectly all right.

Thank you.Can I use it in this way:Tom and Kate hit it a OK the first time they met each other.
