who can explain the word "V8"for me ?

V-8 has two meanings. It is the name of a mixed vegetable juice in the
U.S. It is also a type of car engine.

Colloquially, we sometimes refer to a car which has a V-8 engine as a V-8.

Some internal combustion engines (in some current cars) have a configuration in a V-shape that use eight cylinders to move us around. A V-8 engine is typically a larger engine and, as such, use more gasoline, but has lots of power. Often times, smaller engines use 4 cylinders or 6 cylinders that are typically less powerful, but more economical. Note that there are also V-6 engines, too, that configure the cylinders in a V-formation.
