What do you think would be the biggest challenge when working outside campus?

That depends on what type of work you are talking about.

Are you asking about working a small job that is not on campus?

Are you talking about working on school work outside of campus?

Or are you wanting to compare a teachers job to... lets say in home tutoring?

I think the biggest challenge is facing the prospect of doing the same job, day in and day out, for many, many years to come. Students often fail to realize that full-time employment will use up most of their waking hours for the rest of their lives.

Set is right about the tedium of working in the real world.

Also, while you are a student, protected on campus, everyone recognizes that you are learning and you will make mistakes.

Off campus, in the "real world" you will not be judged as a beginner who is learning--you will be judged as a worker who may or may not be capable of doing the job.

People will no longer worry about your personal growth. They will worry about getting the job done.
