cooljuly- One cannot make a blanket statement. Marriage is difficult enough when people come from similar backgrounds. It is much more dificult when two people come from different cultures.
Saying that, there are many couples who come from very dissimilar backgrounds that have wonderful marriages. I think that whether a marriage will succeed or fail really has to do with the individuals involved.
